What is Agnipath(Agniveer) Scheme of Indian Military : Explained , why protest are going on ?
Agneepath scheme is the scheme launched by the government of India for the recruitment of the Indian Army soldiers in the Indian Military.
It is a scheme in which the citizens of India aged between 17.5 years to 21 years can serve in the Indian Military. Those serving soldier's will be known as "Agniveer's". 75% of recruited soldiers will be retired after 4 years of service from the Indian Military with a good amount of money in their hand and they will be given priority in other public sector jobs. The remaining best 25% Agniveer's will continue to serve in the Indian Military.

The Whole Master Plan of Agneepath (Agniveer) Scheme :-
The whole plan of the "Agneepath scheme" started in the may 2020 when there were clashes between Indian Military and the Chinese Military in the "galwan valley". India is having the same number of Military soldiers as compared to US Military and China Military but despite having so much Military manpower we are still behind them in the "Global Fire Power Index".
India then decided to plan in a way to increase the inventory of powerful weapons with loaded futuristic Technology with the same budget and resources.
India then laid out a scheme known as "Agneepath Scheme" in which citizens aged between 17.5 years to 21 years can join the Indian Military and then those who are eligible, will be recruited for 4 years with 6 months of training given precisely under the strict military supervision. They will also be given monthly salary for the next 4 years along with that, An "Agniveer Seva Nidhi scheme" has been launched where for the next 4 four years, Money will be deposited buy cutting 30% of the salary from the Agniveer's salary account and then the total money collected at the end of 4 years will be doubled by the Government of India and will be given back to the retired military soldier's for their future use.
In this way government of India will pick the best 25% of Armed Soldier's to strengthen the military and rest 75% who will be retired at an early age will get highest priority in other Public sector units as the young retired military soldier's will be skilled and disciplined.
One of the most biggest decision taken was to cancel all the pensions which were given to the retired military soldiers as the ¼ of the Total Indian DEFENCE budget were used for that and that money will be spent on the modernization of the Weapons of Indian Military.
What are the key benefits of Agneepath scheme ?
1. The 25% of the total recruited Agniveer's will continue their service in the Indian Military.
2. The rest 75% of the retired Agniveer's after 4 years will get :-
- 12 lakhs as financial package to get start for a new life.
- For those wishing to be entrepreneurs will get priority Business loans in the bank.
- For those wishing to study further will get bridging course for for further studies.
- For those wishing to get jobs will get priority recruitments and reservations in Central Armed Police Forces, Assam Rifles and various other Police jobs in Various States.
- Many Private sector companies have also come forward for the recruitment of these retired "Agniveer's".
3. If a recruited Agniveer is martyred during any military operation during it's 4 year's of service then his/her family will get a compensation of 1 crore INR (10 Million INR) under "Agniveer's Seva Nidhi Package" including all the salary left for the remaining term.
4. If a recruited Agniveer get's any physical disability during any military operation in his/her 4 year's of service then his/her family will get a compensation of 48 lakh/25 lakh/15 lakh INR on 100 %/75 %/50% disability respectively under "Agniveer's Seva Nidhi Package" including all the salary left for the remaining term.
5. The recruitments will be Pan India based and every youth will get an offer to serve in the Indian Armed Forces.
Why are the protests going on against the Agniveer Scheme ?
The people who oppose this scheme have a agenda that the countries future is being destroyed as the Agniveer's will not get any job after 4 years and their pension is being ended and there future will end up.
